This course adopts a Problem Based Learning (PBL) teaching style to cultivate students’ mastery of the most important technology in big data processing: knowledge discovery in databases (KDD).

Smart Medicine

In this course, students will gain insights into: (1) The current status of AI applications in healthcare. (2) The analysis and interpretation of medical data. (3) The application of basic research data and clinical research data to smart healthcare.

Bioinformatics

With a foundation in Biomedicine, Computer Science, and Information Science, this course aims to cultivate professionals with informatic and medical knowledge. The goal is to maximize the application of computer technology in medical and biomedical research and nurture well-rounded talents.

Data Science Industry Application Trends and Cases

The goal of the course is to gain an in-depth understanding of the adoption of data science in the industry and to learn how to apply data science techniques to solve real-world problems.

Research Methodology

The purpose of this course is to help students understand research methodology, including both qualitative and quantitative research methods. The course will cover a variety of topics, such as survey research, experimental design, and statistical analysis.
